Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Refining exchange deal transactions in client accounts and identifying discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer representatives
- Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions activity, and processing/reconciling dividend activity
- Conducting research on complex/escalated concerns and performing testing/validation of new technology augmentations and vendor adjustments
- Completing projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account
- Interacting with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
- Collaborating with TD Ameritrade Clearing in our daily relationships with fund companies, transfer brokers, converse organizations, and other outside business partners
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Experience working in the financial industry, particularly in alternative investments
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
- Familiarity with tax programming and coding
- Experience with internal/external system improvements or issues
- Certification in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
