About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our Voice of the Customer (VOC) team, responsible for transforming and innovating our VOC method. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of data-driven decision-making, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. As a Senior Data Architect, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our VOC platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with utility teams to outline, design, and implement business requirements for the VOC platform.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of VOC methods and leverage this knowledge to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Design and build robust data model architectures to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions.
  • Develop and implement large-scale data analytics and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python).
  • Provide guidance on optimizing data processing and analytics to drive efficiency in computing programs using massive data ecosystems.
  • Develop and implement software program programs, testing, and automation tools to support VOC platform development.
  • Proactively identify and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, increase, and review statistics for various use cases as part of the VOC cease-to-quit technique.

Essential Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, shell scripting languages, development, launch management, and troubleshooting for data-driven tasks, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with product managers/product owners to translate functional requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including the ability to deliver small increments of a product at regular intervals to business groups.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data governance.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA.

You'll be an expert in data architecture, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
