This role is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in customs brokerage, working remotely with a local presence. As a Customs Brokerage Representative III, you will play a critical part in ensuring seamless customs clearance processes, building strong client relationships, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Customs Entries and Clearance: Prepare and forward customs entries to designated locations, interfacing with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers to ensure smooth clearance processes.
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors, and coordinate freight delivery to designated locations.
• Finance and Accounting: Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues, and scan entries into the imaging system meeting allotted and sensitive time requirements.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis using various software packages and databases to inform business decisions.
• Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Weekend and Holiday Work: Work on a weekend schedule on a department rotation basis and holiday schedule based on the needs of the operation and account requirements.
• Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits and provide findings to management to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience working for a Customs Broker, with a strong understanding of customs operations, laws, and regulations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with accurate and rapid data entry skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Location: Must be located within 50 miles of Aiken, SC.
• License: Customers Broker License is preferred.
