Position Overview

As a Corporate Retail Store Lead Key Holder, you will play a vital role in supporting the operational functions of our store. Your primary responsibilities will include handling customer queries, assisting with POS transactions, adhering to opening and closing checklists, and ensuring store standards throughout the daily shift. You will also act as a role model to our Ambassadors, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service and high morale within the team.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Act as a role model to Ambassadors, demonstrating outstanding customer service and leadership skills
  • Support Associate Managers with answering radio calls and handling guest queries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution
  • Assist with cash-in and cash-out process, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist with opening and closing process, ensuring all checklists are complete and store standards are met
  • Assist the Associate Manager on-duty with ensuring all Ambassador breaks and lunches are handled, maintaining position coverage as required
  • Assist Ambassadors with POS transactions, including refunds, voids, and returns, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Support the Associate Manager on-duty in giving Ambassadors direction to ensure premium guest service and store standards during the daily shift
  • Respond immediately to guest experience recovery situations, using best judgment to resolve issues in accordance with guest service guidelines
  • Maintain visual standards and follow plan-o-grams set by the Planners and Visual Merchandise Manager, under the guidance of Associate Managers
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Associate Manager(s) or Store Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

Educational Requirements and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 1 year of experience within a fast-paced retail environment. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, as well as visual merchandising experience. You must also be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide Ambassadors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a POS system
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing schedules and priorities

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role, with a focus on team management and development
  • Visual merchandising experience, with a focus on creating visually appealing displays and promoting products
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory management, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Certification in customer service or retail management, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development
