About the Role

As a Cold Drink Equipment Installer 1, you will play a critical role in our Field Service team, responsible for the preparation, delivery, return, and movement of Coca-Cola vending machines and coolers. Key Responsibilities

• Delivers, returns, and moves vending machines and coolers to and from customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Provides support to Cold Drink Equipment Installer 2, assisting with tasks and projects as needed.
• Completes general repairs of machines from movement, excluding refrigerant, to ensure they are in good working order.
• Cleans equipment and machines to maintain a high level of quality and presentation.
• Completes general maintenance around the cooler shop, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications:

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Valid chauffeur's license and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy.
• Valid driver's license and ability to retain CDL after 90 days of hire.
• Valid Class A or B CDL and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy.
• DOT Certification and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies.
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines.
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets.
• Ability to utilize all Company-provided resources and technology.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

In addition to these essential qualifications, we prefer candidates with:

• Previous experience in a related field, such as equipment installation or maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all functional team members.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and perform physical tasks, such as bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedules as required.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this role include:

• Repeated standing and walking.
• Frequent bending, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, use of hands/wrists by grasping, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs., fine manipulation, lifting, carrying, and vehicle operation.
• Frequent exposure to weather and loud noise.
• Requirement to wear safety-toed shoes when performing certain tasks.
