About the Enterprise Sales Team

As an Account Executive - Medium Enterprise, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about helping our customers achieve their goals and transform their businesses. The Role: Account Executive - Medium Enterprise

As an Account Executive - Medium Enterprise, you'll play a key role in our Field Sales organization, driving net new revenue growth and helping to expand our customer base. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that deliver long-lasting value. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and closing deals that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in your assigned territory
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects, sharing Workday value propositions and driving customer adoption
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data to inform sales decisions
  • Collaborate with internal team members to develop account strategies and drive customer success

About You: Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in sales, with a focus on SaaS/Cloud-based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions. You'll need to have:

  • ~8+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based solutions to C-levels from a field sales position
  • Experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities
  • A proven track record of success in a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for new opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry, with the ability to stay up-to-date with trends and customer needs
  • Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies
  • A strong network of contacts within the industry, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes:

  • A competitive salary, with a base pay range of $136,200 USD - $166,400 USD
  • A role-specific commission/bonus plan, as well as annual refresh stock grants
