About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Customer Care Agent to join our team on a 4-day weekend shift. As a Customer Care Agent, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers over the phone, live chat, and email to provide top-notch support and create lifelong fans of Lighting New York. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients via phone, chat, and email, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their queries and concerns
  • Work independently to solve unique problems and think creatively to come up with innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with the customer care team to achieve common goals and share best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with our products, services, and policies to provide accurate and informative support to our customers
  • Utilize our customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage customer interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you stay ahead of the curve in customer care

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or call center environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on finding solutions rather than just answering questions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Flexibility to work a 4-day weekend shift, with availability to work 10-hour shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of the lighting industry or experience working with similar products
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English
  • Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid environment, with a proven track record of success in a home-based setting
