Job Overview

As a Remote Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming customer contacts via phone, email, and text message. You'll work in a 100% remote environment, with the flexibility to create your own schedule (within our required weekend shifts). This is a part-time, seasonal opportunity that runs from March/April/May through September/October, with the possibility of year-round work for exceptional candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and text messages from customers
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using the appropriate methods and tools
  • Meet personal contact handling quotas and performance targets
  • Handle customer complaints and provide effective solutions
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers and exceed their expectations

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and/or written communication skills
  • Comfortable working with a computer and navigating multiple software applications
  • Ability to adapt and respond to different character types and personalities
  • Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum 5 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload
  • Windows computer capable of running multiple (5+) Chrome tabs without slowdown
  • Headset compatible with computer
  • Quiet work environment free from distractions
  • Available to work weekends, with a focus on Saturday afternoons (12 PM - 5 PM Eastern), Sunday mornings (9 AM - 1 PM Eastern), and Monday mornings (9 AM - 1 PM Eastern)
  • Must reside in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Texas, or Tennessee
  • Satisfactory results on completion of Indeed's Basic Computer Skills assessment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience (not required, but a plus!)
  • Completion of Indeed's Customer Service assessment
