Job Summary

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Delta Airlines, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications on AWS. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront
• Implement scalable and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Collaborate with the development team to optimize packages for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug web applications and infrastructure issues
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AWS and web development technologies
• Develop Proof-of-Concept and MVP tasks to validate new architectures and solutions
• Analyze user requirements to derive software layout and performance requirements
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Provide guidelines for enhancing documentation and software development process standards
• Design and code new software programs or alter existing software programs to add new features
• Write code that meets specifications, developing software packages and tools
• Complete programming and perform testing and debugging packages
• Develop software packages and tools using Agile development methodologies

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong experience with web development and web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django
• Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront
• Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based infrastructure
• Understanding of database systems and SQL
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-moving and agile environment
