The Role
As a Sandwich Artistâ¢, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, preparing and serving delicious sandwiches, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving sandwiches, salads, and other menu items to our customers
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including food storage and preparation areas
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Audit standards
- Operating the till and handling customer transactions
- Monitoring stock levels and checking in deliveries
- Completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Following security and safety procedures
- Maintaining a high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway brand and customer expectations
- Working as a team member to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets
- Delivering a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales, and catering for customer needs
What We're Looking For
We're looking for motivated and driven individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. While previous experience in food preparation, retail sales, and/or customer service is desirable, it's not essential. What's more important is a winning attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to excellence. As a Sandwich Artistâ¢, you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway courses to develop your skills and knowledge. You'll also have the opportunity to progress to supervisory and managerial roles, with many of our team members going on to achieve great things within the company.
