Key Responsibilities

• Teach college-level courses in History, primarily on the Bremerton campus, with potential opportunities to teach at our Poulsbo and Shelton campuses
• Develop and deliver high-quality course content, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and complete required forms and reports
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and policies
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to foster a culture of excellence and student success

Essential Qualifications

• Master's degree in History from an accredited college or university
• Previous teaching experience, preferably at the community college level
• Ability to teach U.S. History and/or World History courses
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• College-level teaching experience
• Experience working with diverse student populations, including students with disabilities
• Familiarity with learning management systems and educational technology
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment

Olympic College offers a competitive salary range of $1,496 - $1,604 per quarter, depending on experience. As an adjunct faculty member, you will also be eligible for:
