About the Role
As a Social Media Moderator, you will be the face of our brand on various social media platforms, ensuring that our online presence is engaging, informative, and customer-centric. You will be responsible for moderating comments and messages, responding to customer inquiries, and fostering a sense of community among our followers. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a tangible impact on our customers' lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Moderate and respond to comments and messages across our organic and paid social media channels, ensuring timely and effective engagement with our customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, providing personalized support and resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Analyze data and metrics to drive insights and improve engagement strategies, ensuring that our online presence is optimized for maximum impact.
- Collaborate with our Content Team to develop and implement social media strategies that align with our brand goals and values.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, ensuring that our online presence remains fresh and relevant.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and/or night shifts, to ensure that our social media channels are always monitored and responded to in a timely manner.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 1-3 years of experience in social media moderation, community management, or customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and their community guidelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and tone.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive insights and improve engagement strategies.
- Passion for brand building and a commitment to fostering a positive online community.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Experience with Sprout Social or other social media management tools.
- Knowledge of content creation and curation principles.
- Familiarity with the health and wellness industry.
