ROP - Principal Software Engineering Manager
Microsoft is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team developing high-scale intelligence-based systems for Azure services and workloads. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and operating reliable systems, including data analytics systems, with experience in distributed systems fundamentals
- Technical leadership in driving engineering roadmaps, leading teams, mentoring, and helping others grow
- Problem solving and debugging skills
- Understanding of threading and asynchronous programming fundamentals
- Experience engaging in site-reliability engineering practices
- Data-driven approach to solving problems iteratively and measuring success
