Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex pricing and underwriting models using advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL, and SAS to analyze large datasets and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, reporting, operations, business development, and sales, to drive business growth and improve pricing mechanisms.
- Analyze data and identify trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management on pricing and underwriting strategies.
- Prepare executive-level documentation, including pricing concept memos and financial metric recommendations.
- Present pricing concept suggestions, data analysis, and financial models to management and leadership on a regular basis.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create and maintain sophisticated forecasting and underwriting models, including pivot tables, macros, and formula auditing.
- Apply intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Access, SAS, and SQL to query and analyze large and complex datasets.
- Track, analyze, and report on automation efforts and process improvements to enhance current pricing mechanisms.
- Identify and solve pricing issues through analysis of internal and external data.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Business, Actuarial Science, or Pharmacoeconomics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to executives and leaders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Contracting, Finance, Account Management, or Pricing.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting, with a strong understanding of data metrics and operational processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and formula auditing.
- Experience with SQL and SAS.
