Job Summary

As the Director of Healthcare Data Management, you will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to identify and examine data monetization opportunities, develop strategies, and drive various business initiatives. You will manage the operational capabilities of the U.S. Healthcare Strategy team, ensuring the continuous improvement of data governance and management strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing data monetization products and develop new ones, aligning with business objectives and strategies.
• Establish and maintain data governance and management strategies across the organization, working closely with various lines of business to bolster data monetization products.
• Provide analytics and insights to support business decision-making, including the development of settlement management strategies for pharmaceutical manufacturer agreements.
• Serve as a data subject matter expert (SME), supporting business relationships with existing and new data product customers and participating in regulatory or contractual audits.
• Contribute to RFP responses and Statements of Work (SOW) for new contracts, leveraging your expertise in data management and analytics.
• Work in a matrix environment to provide shared responsibility for pharmaceutical manufacturer relationships, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and enterprise data governance standards.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships, communicating Walgreens' needs and priorities to stakeholders across the pharmaceutical, trade, specialty, and healthcare industries.
• Lead cross-functional teams to create line of sight and synergies across Walgreens, driving business growth and improvement.
• Support new business development by providing application design and process expertise, creating proposals for new services, and reporting analytical capabilities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through orientation, training, and performance management programs, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing programs of financial or operational importance in a manufacturer or healthcare services environment.
• At least 4 years of experience in designing, documenting, and implementing service programs of financial or operational importance.
• 3+ years of experience working with Walgreens, defining and gaining concurrence/accountabilities of project activities across multiple disciplines.
• Experience participating in cross-functional teams to develop processes that meet business and organizational needs within budget and established timelines.
• Proven track record of identifying operational problems and recommending/enforcing solutions to drive business improvement.
• Experience with project management, application management, and analytics of manufacturer programs for Specialty Pharmacy services.
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
• 3+ years of direct management, indirect management, and/or cross-functional team management experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within country and out of country).

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Master's in Data Science).
• Experience working in a healthcare data management or analytics role, with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data management, and data analytics principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
