The Company Cerbo is a high-growth healthcare SaaS company, doing our part in the medical market to support holistic lifestyles and personalized medicine. Our software – Cerbo EHR – is a cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) and patient portal software system. Healthcare offices across the country – and some around the world – use Cerbo for almost everything they do in their day-to-day. Cerbo originally started as a developer’s nights-and-weekends project. And has grown into one of the leading EHR systems for functional or “root cause” medicine and membership- or cash-based clinics. Because of our unique origins, we often approach things a bit differently. That is, success for us is not just about the bottom line. It’s more about providing a great product, operating with integrity, and supporting our clients and our team. During the past four years our team has grown, and thousands of practitioners and patients use our product. To this end, we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be on the front lines of Cerbo’s growth, responsible for creating and qualifying new business opportunities. You’ll research, prospect, and connect with healthcare practices that can benefit from Cerbo, sparking the first conversation and setting the stage for long-term partnerships.

Objectives of this Role

  • Generate qualified meetings and pipeline for the sales team.

  • Build awareness of Cerbo’s value among prospective clients in functional and integrative medicine, direct primary care, and general wellness practices.

  • Maintain a consistent outreach cadence through phone, email, and other channels.

  • Partner closely with Account Executives and marketing to refine messaging and targeting strategies.

  • Achieve and exceed activity and pipeline creation goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential client accounts through targeted outbound efforts.

  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and social outreach to engage decision-makers.

  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into opportunities.

  • Clearly articulate Cerbo’s value proposition and tailor messaging to prospects’ business needs.

  • Use CRM tools to track activities, maintain accurate pipeline data, and report on results.

  • Collaborate with the broader sales and marketing teams to continuously improve messaging and conversion rates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (SaaS or healthcare industry experience is a plus).

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).

  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and outreach daily.

  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate new technology solutions.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Coachable, eager to learn, and driven to achieve measurable results.
