Schedule and Compensation

As a Remote Collector, you will enjoy a flexible, hybrid remote arrangement that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home. Our standard schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Your compensation will include a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 per hour, plus commission, providing a lucrative opportunity for growth and success.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Remote Collector, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Making collection calls and correspondence in a goal-oriented collections department
• Monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts to ensure timely payments and reduced delinquency
• Communicating effectively with customers to resolve issues and negotiate payment plans
• Processing payments and updating the status of accounts in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborating with other Collections Department staff and UBH teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
• Maintaining reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace that is free from distractions

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Collections experience, preferably in a goal-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace
• Ability to type on a computer for a large portion of the day
• Ability to make and receive phone calls to and from customers

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

• Experience with collections software and systems
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing collections
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
