We're seeking an exceptional Project Manager to lead large-scale software development projects for major retailers, focusing on Supply Chain, Logistics, and Merchandising systems. As a seasoned Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-visibility projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in managing large-scale software development projects, preferably in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project Management, with a proven track record of working cross-functionally and delivering projects that meet business objectives. You'll be responsible for leading projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage project status, risks, and issues, and provide regular updates to senior leadership and steering committees
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and develop risk management plans
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, vendors, and team members
  • Ensure that all projects are aligned with business objectives and strategies
  • Develop and implement project management processes and best practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, with a focus on large-scale software development projects in the retail industry
  • Experience with retail systems, including Supply Chain, Logistics, and Merchandising systems
  • Strong Project Management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, stakeholders, and team members
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with a strong understanding of SDLC principles and methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a technical focus

Preferred Qualifications

We'd love to see:

  • Big 4 consulting background, with experience working with major retailers and software development projects
  • Experience with project management tools, such as MS Project, Asana, or Trello
  • Certifications in Project Management, such as PMP or PRINCE2
