Job Summary

We're seeking an exceptional Math Tutor to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. As a Math Tutor, you'll be responsible for creating an engaging and productive learning experience for students, both in-center and online. Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students using the Mathnasium Method?
• Participate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program value
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method?, terminology, and teaching practices
• Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
• Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment
• Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
• Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method?

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring math
• Strong understanding of math concepts and ability to communicate them effectively
• Experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels
