About the Role: Certified English Tutor (Remote)

As a Preply English tutor, you'll have the freedom to teach English online to students worldwide, on your own schedule and at your own price. You'll create engaging lesson plans, utilize Preply's integrated calendar to schedule lessons, and access training and professional development through our Tutor Academy and regular webinars. Your goal will be to help students achieve their language learning goals, whether they're looking to improve their conversational skills, prepare for a language proficiency test, or simply explore a new culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, on your own schedule and at your own price
• Create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with your students
• Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
• Access training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars
• Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs
• Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful in your interactions with students

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English (native or near-native fluency)
• A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
• A high-speed internet connection

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with online language learning platforms
• Knowledge of curriculum design and lesson planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
