About the Role: Certified English Tutor (Remote)

As a Preply English Tutor, you'll have the freedom to create your own schedule, set your own hourly rate, and teach students from all over the world. You'll be responsible for coaching, tutoring, and guiding students to achieve their language learning objectives. With Preply's integrated calendar, you'll be able to schedule lessons with ease and access a wealth of training and professional development resources through our Tutor Academy and regular webinars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, on your own schedule and at your own price
• Create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with students
• Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
• Access training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars
• Change the lives of students all over the world by providing high-quality language instruction

Essential Qualifications:

To become a successful Preply English Tutor, you'll need:

• Proficiency in English
• A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
• Experience providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs
• A high-speed internet connection
• To be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful

Preferred Qualifications:

While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• Previous experience with online language learning platforms
• Knowledge of curriculum design and development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
