Our programs are designed for children aged 6 weeks to 10 years and incorporate a range of activities, including gymnastics, sports, games, movement, and songs. Job Summary

As a Children's Activity Instructor at My Gym, you will be responsible for teaching our signature programs to children of various ages and skill levels. You will work closely with our team to create a dynamic and engaging experience for our students, while also building strong relationships with parents and families. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach My Gym programs to children aged 6 weeks to 10 years, incorporating a range of activities, including gymnastics, sports, games, movement, and songs.
• Create a positive, non-competitive environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and have fun.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and families through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience for our students.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings to share ideas, discuss challenges, and stay updated on center news and events.
• Lead activities in front of groups of parents and children, demonstrating confidence and enthusiasm.
• Assist with birthday parties and other events, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.

Essential Qualifications:

• A background in fitness, such as gymnastics, dance, team sports, cheer, martial arts, or a related field.
• Experience working with children, preferably in a teaching or instructional capacity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• A patient, outgoing, and upbeat personality, with a passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.
• Availability to work weekends and attend a weekly staff meeting on Fridays from 1:30 - 6 PM.
• A clean background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a children's fitness or education setting.
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, or a related field.
• A degree in education, exercise science, or a related field.
• Additional skills or certifications, such as dance, gymnastics, or sports coaching.
