About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Recognize and recruit top-level talent, provide mentorship and training, and define the team's objectives and goals in alignment with the organization's overall strategic direction
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product features, marketing efforts, and customer engagement, and identify opportunities for product upgrades and productivity gains through data analysis, experimentation, and innovation
• Utilize advanced analytical procedures to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, informing product development, marketing strategies, and design improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and continuous product improvement through data-driven insights and experimentation

Essential Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience in leading product and customer research, experimentation, and insights within top-tier innovation organizations, preferably in e-commerce

• 3+ years of experience in an administrative role, building and driving data science and analytics teams
• Demonstrated history of delivering impactful insights, driving business results, and continuous product improvement through data-driven approaches and experimentation
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R/SAS, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as product and design, marketing, and operations
• Previous C-level/Executive Board exposure, with experience contributing to and having in-depth conversations with C-level partners

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, computer science, mathematics)

• Experience with machine learning, natural language processing, or other advanced analytics techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Certification in data science or analytics (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Certified Analytics Professional)
