Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and passionate individuals to join our team as ABA/Autism Technicians. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, providing one-on-one Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our team is committed to delivering exceptional services, and we offer comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum.
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans and monitor progress.
  • Implement discrete trials, behavior support, and treatment plans as directed by the BCBA Supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with the BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work, including arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions.
  • Be goal-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with children in a 1:1 setting, preferably in a role such as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a related field, such as ABA, Special Education, or Healthcare.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, and a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
  • Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
  • Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • Lift up to 35lbs.
  • Perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
  • Respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20-$25 per hour, plus paid training and the opportunity to earn up to $4000.00 in incentive bonuses per year. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
