Job Overview

We're currently seeking experienced Part-Time Primary Care Physicians in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine to join our team at two locations: Memorial Green / Katy Freeway - West Houston and Cypress / Skinner - Northwest Houston. As a Part-Time Primary Care Physician with Houston Methodist Primary Care Group, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients while enjoying a fulfilling and challenging career.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in a primary care setting
• Conduct routine physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on disease management and prevention
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and guidelines

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas
• Strong clinical skills and experience in primary care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
• Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care
• Leadership or management experience
• Participation in continuing education and professional development
