Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Team Leaders and Organizers to meet project objectives in the conceptualization and development of graphics and layouts
• Create high-quality designs with strong sensibilities that cater to a diverse range of projects
• Demonstrate adaptable design skills in branding, typography, and packaging
• Pitch innovative ideas to Team Leaders and Creative Facilitators
• Complete all design tasks according to client requirements and Hobby Lobby standards while meeting technical requirements
• Comply with all time constraints while managing multiple tasks
• Stay up-to-date with current design trends and market insights
• Proactively solve problems with patience and insight
• Work closely with peers and establish a sense of camaraderie between teams
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Adhere to all Art/Creative security policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Contribute to collaboration by fulfilling responsibilities with a positive attitude
• Adjust to additional responsibilities and tasks as needed

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• A strong understanding of design and print production
• The ability to self-start and work under minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient branding skills
• Knowledge of current market trends and customer behavior

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient Macintosh and Microsoft Office skills
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• A four-year college degree in visual depiction or a related field
• Professional design experience
