Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of data engineers focused on large-scale data pipeline development and optimization.

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define data strategy, governance practices, and KPIs.

• Manage resource allocation, sprint planning, and cross-functional project deliverables.

• Oversee the deployment of scalable data solutions, while ensuring compliance with security and privacy regulations.

• Evaluate and recommend technologies to support enterprise data initiatives.

• Remove technical blockers and support team growth through strategic feedback and coaching.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong organizational and communication skills; technical depth not required but helpful.

• Proven success in managing remote technical teams.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
