Job Description

As a Preschool Paraprofessional, you will assist classroom teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for preschool students. This includes helping implement learning activities, supervising play, supporting social-emotional development, and providing one-on-one or group support to students. The paraprofessional plays a key role in maintaining daily routines and promoting positive classroom behavior.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• Early childhood experience or relevant coursework preferred

• Ability to work with preschool-aged children in a patient, caring manner

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Must pass all required background checks and clearances

• Physical ability to sit, stand, and engage in active play with young children

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of preschool curriculum and daily activities

• Support students in academic and social-emotional tasks

• Supervise indoor and outdoor play to ensure student safety

• Provide individual support and small group instruction as directed by the teacher

• Assist with hygiene, snack time, and clean-up routines
