Experienced Executive Assistant, International Content – High-Level Support for Disney Entertainment Television

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the EVP and VP of International Content at Disney Entertainment Television. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the EVP and VP of International Content. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the television programming process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing the busy calendars of the EVP and VP, coordinating events and travel, and providing administrative support as needed.

Responsibilities

* Manage the busy calendars of the EVP and VP, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and ensuring timely responses to emails and phone calls

  • Coordinate in-person and virtual events, including logistics, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Interface with various internal departments and external organizations, including studios, networks, and production companies
  • Manage reports and maintain databases for the department, including tracking expenses, processing purchase orders, and distributing mail
  • Create PowerPoint and Keynote presentations, as needed
  • Support special projects, promotions, events, and programs, as needed
  • Perform other administrative duties, including screening and routing phone calls, processing expense reports, and ordering supplies
  • Participate in an administrative team, providing backup to other assistants and contributing to day-to-day coverage of administrative duties

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of administrative experience in a high-volume entertainment desk at a studio, network, production company, or agency

  • Strong understanding of the television programming process
  • Strong interest in international content and/or business, as well as direct-to-consumer streaming services
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Approachable style and ability to professionally interface with high-level executives, clients, employees, and business associates, both internal and external
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven experience in multitasking and working with multiple people and priorities while delivering on high-quality results and follow-through
  • Demonstrates curiosity, business acumen, and a desire to understand the "big picture"
  • Demonstrates flexibility and professionalism in an environment where change is constant
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work with limited supervision, exercise good judgment, anticipate issues, and proactively problem solve
  • Collaborative team player who is willing to jump in where needed
  • Proficient in using PCs and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Outlook) and SAP as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience supporting senior-level executive(s) in a corporate environment

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience
