Job Summary

We're seeking an entry-level Python Data Warehousing Specialist to join our growing development team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you'll be responsible for maintaining rules written in Python that map business data to our production database using an in-house data warehousing tool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some programming experience and excellent communication skills to gain experience with software development and data warehousing.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain rules written in Python that map business data to our production database using an in-house data warehousing tool

• Work with the database to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Archive raw data and push/pull data from data stores
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve data-related issues
• Develop and implement data warehousing solutions to improve data analysis and reporting capabilities
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data warehousing and software development

Requirements

* 1 year of experience in software development, preferably with Python

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Familiarity with Excel
• Familiarity with FTP/SFTP
• Familiarity with Amazon S3
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

* Web scraping experience

• Experience with Django or Flask
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery
