About the Team and Our Mission

The Global Campaigns & Virtual Programs Digital Marketing Team is a group of platform and process experts dedicated to delivering scaled programs for stakeholder teams globally. We operate in over 12 supported languages and are committed to excellence in ownership, earning trust, learning, and inventing. As part of the Global Integrated Marketing organization at AWS, our team plays a critical role in driving mid-funnel marketing activities and promoting AWS's priority solution themes and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day management and optimization of our email channel and digital operations, including development, QA, deployment, and reporting for Global Campaigns and Tier 1 events
  • Collaborate with campaign leads, in-region Field Marketing Managers, Events Marketing, Product Marketing, platform owners, and other internal stakeholders to create exceptional digital experiences
  • Drive and make recommendations regarding customer engagement within digital channels, including cadence, frequency, and targeting
  • Implement targeting and customer segmentation for digital campaigns, leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making
  • Develop and execute test plans across all digital channels, analyzing results and implementing optimizations to drive improved performance
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices for email, social channels, paid media, and internal reporting, continuously monitoring and improving campaign performance
  • Manage the maintenance of a library of assets and campaigns, including asset hierarchy, asset management, and localization support for international geographies

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience, with a strong focus on digital marketing and campaign management
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements, including proficiency in Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)
  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of marketing automation and project management platforms (Marketo and Workfront preferred)
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams, with excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management, with a strong understanding of global marketing strategies and cultural nuances
  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process, with a focus on efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • A base salary ranging from $70,900/year to $151,700/year, depending on location and experience
