Key Responsibilities: Delivering Exceptional Customer Care
- Respond to inbound customer calls regarding health insurance benefits, eligibility, and claim status, providing accurate and timely resolutions.
- Support less experienced team members and handle escalated issues, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
- Collaborate with clients and internal departments to resolve issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Organize and complete tasks according to assigned priorities, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability in all interactions.
- Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry, products, services, and processes performed by the team.
Essential Qualifications: Experience and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare insurance industry.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with healthcare insurance policy concepts and terminology.
- Proficient in using a computer with Windows PC applications, with a minimum internet speed of 20 upload/20 download.
- Reliable transportation and availability to commute to our Providence, RI office when required.
- Flexible scheduling: available to work Monday-Friday (08:00am to 08:00pm EST) and Saturday or Sunday (08:00am to 12:00pm EST), with potential for overtime and weekend work based on business requirements.
