About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Software Developer to join our team in Dallas, USA. As a Software Developer, you'll play a critical role in the development and implementation of our Global Station Arrangement, a custom application designed to support the operations of our warehouses in Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project, collaborating with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement business workflows to ensure proper application planning and execution
• Create and maintain Cloud-Native UIs using cutting-edge technologies
• Lead design meetings and code reviews for enhancements and customizations to the development framework
• Develop and execute unit tests to validate code changes and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with Systems Architects and Product Managers to enhance the capabilities of the global station arrangement
• Work with other technical teams to ensure adherence to Costco's architecture guidelines and standards
• Participate in scrum functions, including sprint planning, review, and retrospectives
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure standards are met and best practices are followed
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical guides

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Expertise in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and AngularJS
• Experience with Git and version control systems
• Experience with testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, and NUnit
• Strong knowledge of Web Markup, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across IT and beyond
• A self-starter with strong drive and the ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Demonstrated ability to provide project estimates and lead technical teams to meet commitments

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Certification in Azure
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Understanding of cloud design principles and experience with Azure
