Job Overview

In this temporary remote data entry associate role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including data entry, research, and validation of provider contract records. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant regulations. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in this position. As a remote data entry associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including data entry, data validation, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrubbing, researching, and validating provider contract records to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Updating status in customer systems and ensuring that all data is up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations
  • Researching and installing healthcare provider contracts, including verification of provider information, contract accuracy, and database loading
  • Retrieving and entering data from computer/web-based systems, files, and other documents, using a range of software tools and applications
  • Analyzing information collected to identify potential problems and discrepancies, and taking corrective action as needed
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of transactions to meet or exceed client Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Applying healthcare and insurance domain knowledge, theoretical concepts, and problem-solving skills to undertake complex tasks and resolve issues
  • Identifying and resolving both routine and non-routine problems, and escalating issues to more proficient team members as needed
  • Monitoring email boxes and sending responses to inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a range of skills and qualifications, including:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a role that required a focus on quality, including attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for your work
  • At least 1 year of experience in a professional/office-related environment, such as office support, data entry, clerical, or customer service
  • At least 1 year of experience using a computer with Windows applications, including keyboard navigation, multiple screen use, and learning new software tools
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED

In addition to the required skills and qualifications, we are looking for candidates who have:

  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, in a professional/office setting
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to leverage research, analysis, and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues

  • Knowledge of AS400, Windows-based systems, Excel Spreadsheets, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Job Type and Education

This is a temporary job opportunity, and the ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent. However, we welcome applications from candidates with higher levels of education and experience.

Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a professional/office-related environment, including data entry, customer service, and AS400 experience (preferred).
