Job Summary

As a Part-Time Customer Support Representative - Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and repair services to our customers in the Fife Region. This is a part-time, remote opportunity that requires a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for performing mechanical services, troubleshooting, and repairing soda fountain equipment, as well as maintaining refrigeration equipment and providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soda fountain equipment according to company standards
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with soda fountain equipment
  • Keep all refrigeration equipment in proper working condition
  • Travel to customer locations to perform mechanical services, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Provide exceptional customer support and create positive, customer-focused experiences
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve customer satisfaction and business objectives

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent degree/certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Technical aptitude to repair machines, with experience in troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and travel to customer locations as required
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or customer service
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on technical support and repair
  • Experience working with soda fountain equipment or other complex machinery
