About the Role

In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor to our top customers, helping them understand and integrate AI accelerators into their overall cloud strategy. You'll work closely with clients to identify opportunities to leverage accelerators, develop migration paths, and optimize model performance. Your expertise will help shape the future of Google Cloud's AI infrastructure and drive business growth for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a trusted guide to our top customers, helping them understand and incorporate AI accelerators into their overall cloud strategy by recommending migration paths, integration techniques, and application architectures that incorporate Google Cloud AI-optimized infrastructure.
• Demonstrate the value of Google Cloud's AI infrastructure by working with clients on proof of concepts, showcasing features, optimizing model performance, profiling, and benchmarking.
• Develop repeatable assets to enable other customers and internal teams to leverage AI accelerators effectively.
• Influence Google Cloud strategy at the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for enterprise customer requirements.
• Travel to customer sites and events as needed to drive business growth and build strong relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with a strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies.
• Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models, with a focus on large-scale AI applications.
• A proven track record of delivering technical presentations while leading detailed discovery and planning sessions with customers, with defined scope and success standards.

Desired Qualifications

To stand out in this role, you'll need:

• Experience with training and fine-tuning large models (e.g., image, language, segmentation, recommendation, genomics) with accelerators.
• Familiarity with running MLPerf benchmarks and optimizing performance.
• Experience with performance profiling tools (e.g., TensorFlow Profiler, PyTorch Profiler, TensorBoard).
• Knowledge of distributed training and optimization techniques to reduce costs.
• Experience designing and architecting large-scale infrastructure farms for specialized AI use cases.
• The ability to interact with C-level or senior business leaders and influence decisions.

Compensation

The USA-based salary range for this full-time role is $125,000 - $250,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
