Job Summary

As a Senior Remote Cerner Oracle EMR EHR Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements, identifying process improvements, and implementing system enhancements to optimize Cerner/Oracle EMR EHR functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT professionals to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals. Your expertise in Cerner/Oracle EMR EHR systems, business process mapping, and change management will be invaluable in driving project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Requirements Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for reporting, workflows, and system enhancements in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
• Workflow Optimization: Evaluate and optimize scheduling, registration, HIM, provider, pharmacy, lab, and nursing workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Business Process Mapping: Create Visio flow diagrams to capture and map business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth system transitions and minimize disruptions.
• Integration and Interoperability: Identify integration points and ensure seamless system integration with other applications and systems.
• Reporting and Dashboard Maintenance: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making and system optimization.
• Process Improvements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Participate in UAT, run regression tests, and identify, design, and optimize new and existing test cases.
• Communication and Collaboration: Work effectively with business teams, IT professionals, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, healthcare administration, information technology).
• Cerner/Oracle EMR EHR Experience: Proven experience working with Cerner/Oracle EMR EHR systems, including scheduling, registration, HIM, provider, pharmacy, lab, and nursing workflows.
• Business Analysis Skills: Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Process Mapping and Improvement: Experience with business process mapping and improvement, including Visio flow diagrams.
• Change Management: Knowledge of change management principles and strategies.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• JIRA Tool Experience: Experience with JIRA tools for project management and issue tracking.
• SQL, PL SQL, and CCL: Knowledge of SQL, PL SQL, and CCL code writing.

• Business Objects Reporting Solution: Experience with Business Objects Reporting Solution.
