Key Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Professional in our Environmental Services department, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining all floors, walls, windows, fixtures, and furnishings in a clean and sanitary condition according to departmental procedures and infection control guidelines.
• Utilizing knowledge of proper cleaning and infection control procedures in specific areas, such as patient rooms, operating theaters, and common areas.
• Communicating effectively with Housekeeping Leads and Admitting teams to ensure seamless coordination and status updates on room readiness.
• Performing other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, patients, and visitors.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or environmental services role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
