Job Summary

As a Part-Time Ramp Agent with American Airlines, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our flights and providing exceptional customer support. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our customers. You'll work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be required to work outside in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Move cargo and freight of various weights to and from aircraft, trucks, and containers
• Operate belt loaders, cargo dollies, and other ground support equipment
• Service aircraft at gates with ground power and air conditioning
• Tow and pushback aircraft from gates
• Service aircraft toilets and water ports
• Clean interior of aircraft when required
• Position catering and baggage trucks around the ramp area
• Work outside in various weather conditions
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Relevant experience in customer service or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, load, dump, and transport packages and freight
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn airline systems
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and certifications
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
