The Opportunity

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Specialist at Ensemble Health Partners, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues across the revenue cycle. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding statements and account balances
  • Post guarantor payments and set up payment plans within company policies
  • Research and resolve issues with accounts identified by patients
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve patient requests and concerns
  • Connect patients with financial counseling services for charity screening and other support
  • Communicate patient balances and provide excellent customer service
  • Meet collection goals and targets set by the department
  • Develop knowledge of all areas of the revenue cycle and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a customer service or call center environment
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-resolution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience in physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations
  • Customer service and call center experience
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle management principles and practices

Certifications and Training

Ensemble Health Partners is committed to supporting the professional development of its associates. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be expected to obtain the CRCR certification within 9 months of hire, which is fully funded by the company.
