We are seeking an experienced Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Cash Posting Specialist to join our remote revenue cycle operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately posting payments received from insurance companies and patients for DME services. This role involves reconciling accounts, ensuring the correct allocation of payments, and addressing discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. You will work closely with the DME Billing Specialist and RCM Management Team to support revenue cycle processes and ensure timely collections.Key Responsibilities
As a DME Cash Posting Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:- Accurately post payments from insurance carriers and patients into the Brightree system
- Reconcile daily cash receipts and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Review explanation of benefits (EOBs) and remittance advices to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with the DME Billing Specialists to follow up on outstanding payments and denials
- Provide support in analyzing payment trends and identifying areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all cash posting activities
- Perform all other duties assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the Revenue Cycle department
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:- Minimum 2 years' experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Cash Posting or billing required
- High School Diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in medical billing, finance, accounting or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of medical billing processes and payment posting procedures
- Proficient in medical billing software. Experience with Brightree preferred

As a DME Cash Posting Specialist, you will be offered:- A competitive salary of $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
