About the Role

We are seeking an experienced B2B Sales Leader to join our team, responsible for managing and developing our American Airlines account. As a key member of our Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding acceptance, and delivering value to our merchants. The successful candidate will have a strong background in relationship management, B2B sales, and leadership, with a proven track record of driving results and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the American Airlines account, leveraging industry expertise and market insights to drive revenue growth and expand acceptance
  • Lead a team of senior client managers, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure the team is equipped to deliver exceptional results and drive customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including American Airlines executives, to drive business growth and identify new opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, risk, and operations, to develop and implement solutions that meet the unique needs of American Airlines
  • Drive a culture of innovation and experimentation, leveraging data and insights to inform business decisions and optimize results
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure the team is meeting its goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, relationship management, or a related field, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and expanding acceptance
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading high-performing teams and developing talent
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform business decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and a focus on delivering results
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the payments industry, with a strong understanding of B2B payments and commerce
  • Knowledge of the airline industry, with experience working with American Airlines or other major airlines
  • Experience with sales force automation tools, such as Salesforce.com
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, including revenue growth, profitability, and return on investment
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, with a focus on building strong relationships with key stakeholders
