About the Role: Freelance Coding Expert

We're seeking talented coding experts with a strong background in software development and programming to join our network of freelance developers. As a freelance coding expert with Workwarp, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with top U.S. companies, from simple to complex business problems. Key Responsibilities

• Participate in designing, coding, and program testing for in-house software solutions, ensuring high-quality and performance.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging code for existing codebase, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
• Take ownership of conducting end-user training programs after software delivery, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, responding quickly to tech support requests and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Collaborate with other teams to implement systems in the production environment, ensuring smooth integration and minimal downtime.
• Identify issues and concerns, reporting them immediately to the IT manager and proposing solutions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation as per company standards, ensuring compliance and facilitating knowledge sharing.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a freelance coding expert with Workwarp, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software programming, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and accomplishments (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, C++, C#, SQL server database, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of developing web applications using at least one popular web framework, including JSF, Wicket, GWT, and Spring MVC.
• Advanced understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify minor errors or code inconsistencies.
• A proactive attitude for troubleshooting bugs and issues in the system.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with U.S. time zones.

Preferred Qualifications
