Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager for Kids Content to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that engages and converts our target audience. Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling Content: Responsible for scheduling content across social media platforms on a daily basis, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Parler, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Exploring New Opportunities: Continuously explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target audience, staying up-to-date on emerging platforms and trends.
• Elevating Storytelling: Evolve and elevate PragerU's storytelling through timely, engaging campaigns that promote education, educational initiatives, and the voice/tone of reaching parents.
• Community Building: Constantly monitor social media channels and engage with posts, popular hashtags, and join pop culture conversations/moments in a proactive and timely manner to cultivate community.
• Collaboration: Collaborate across the team and different departments to capture in-the-moment content while keeping overall content and social strategy in mind.
• Profile Management: Manage PragerU's social media profiles and presence, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all platforms.

Successful Candidates Will Possess

• Experience: 3-5 years of social media and/or related digital marketing experience, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies.
• Platform Knowledge: Strategic experience on social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as staying up-to-date on emerging platforms.
• Passion and Understanding: A passion for social media and a good understanding of key trends, as well as a deep understanding of conservative values and principles.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
• Organizational Skills: Extremely organized with an eye for detail, able to multitask, plan ahead on projects, and meet tight deadlines.
• Alignment: Aligns with PragerU's mission and vision, with a strong desire to promote American values and principles through digital media.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The salary target for this role is $67,000-$85,000, depending on candidate experience and expertise. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
