Experienced Part-Time Telepharmacist – Evening and Overnight Shifts (TX License) Required for Dynamic Telepharmacy Team

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Telepharmacist with CarepathRx, you will be responsible for providing telepharmacy services to multiple clients, including:

• Telepharmacy Services: Perform telepharmacy duties as required and defined in the company SOP, including remote order entry, order verification, drug verification, and counseling (when required).
• Clinical Excellence: Strive to continually improve the practice of pharmacy in a remote telepharmacy setting, practicing pharmacy in a proactive manner and following policies and procedures as contracted with clients.
• Operational Excellence: Learn multiple hospital pharmacy information systems, obtain multiple state licensures in a timely manner, and maintain accurate records and document actions taken.
• Technical Excellence: Work simultaneously with VPNs, various pharmacy information systems (PIS's), as well as automation systems and basic computer programs to provide quality care to clients.
• Training and Development: Coordinate with Regional Trainer to initiate and complete all new hire or new client training processes and objectives.
• Productivity: Strive to achieve and maintain company productivity metrics.

Schedule

As a Part-Time Telepharmacist, you will work a rotating schedule between the hours of 5pm-2am (Mon-Fri) and 9am-2am (Sat/Sun), with a minimum of 2 shifts per week.

Performance Objectives

To ensure success in this role, you will be expected to:

• Telepharmacy: Successfully perform telepharmacy services to assigned clients, including remote order entry, order verification, drug verification, and counseling (when required).
• Clinical Excellence: Continuously improve the practice of pharmacy in a remote telepharmacy setting, practicing pharmacy in a proactive manner and following policies and procedures as contracted with clients.
• Operational Excellence: Learn multiple hospital pharmacy information systems, obtain multiple state licensures in a timely manner, and maintain accurate records and document actions taken.
• Technical Excellence: Work simultaneously with VPNs, various pharmacy information systems (PIS's), as well as automation systems and basic computer programs to provide quality care to clients.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• Degree in Pharmacy: B.S. Pharmacy or PharmD.
• 2+ years' experience: In a hospital inpatient setting, preferred.
• Valid Texas Pharmacist license: Issued by the governing State Board of Pharmacy. Additional licensure will be requested in the future coverage needs.
• Working knowledge: Of formulary policies, pharmacy and therapeutics policy and procedures.
• Effective communications skills: Both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated customer service skills: A must.
• Working knowledge: Of client/server applications.
• Proficiency with office technology tools: MS Office 2000 or later (esp. Outlook, Excel, and Word), Google Drive, internet, and email.
