About the Role

As an Experienced Executive Business Administrator, you'll provide strategic support to the Executive Business Administrator of the Azure Core Executive Office, working closely with the team to drive business success and excellence. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful contribution to the organization. You'll be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including:

  • Assisting the Executive Assistant and Azure Core executive office team with day-to-day operations, including serving as backup support to the lead EA
  • Managing executive office needs, including procurement of supplies, hardware, assets, and facilities requests
  • Undertaking special assignments and projects as needed
  • Providing onsite support during core business hours as needed
  • Driving improvements within our business processes and resources
  • Building and maintaining good business relationships with partners and staff both internally and externally
  • Demonstrating a can-do customer service attitude and consistently delivering exceptional support to senior leaders

Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to the Executive Business Administrator and Azure Core executive office team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements

  • Manage executive office needs, including procurement of supplies, hardware, assets, and facilities requests
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Build and maintain good business relationships with partners and staff both internally and externally
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to senior leaders and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the team to drive business success and excellence

Essential Qualifications

* 5+ years of administrative, business support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper-level management

  • Experience partnering with business leadership and other executive administrators and supporting a global team with remote employees, dealing with ambiguity in a timely manner
  • Experience using Microsoft productivity software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience using OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, or similar collaboration tools
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or Sociology

  • 2+ years of experience serving as a mentor to others
  • 3+ years of experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets, including events, morale, travel, and training
  • Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address them in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
  • Dedicated initiative to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems independently, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail in achieving results
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication skills and competent in Microsoft Office suite
  • Commitment to professionalism in handling highly confidential and sensitive information in all transactions

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain good business relationships with partners and staff both internally and externally

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve problems independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, or similar collaboration tools
