The Opportunity

As an Entry Level Bookkeeper with Moose Creek Bookkeeping, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients. This is a part-time position, estimated to be 20-25 hours per week, with the potential to increase. You will work closely with our owners and account managers to provide bookkeeping support and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping duties across multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
• Create video processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the team
• Participate in bookkeeping cleanups and catch-ups
• Work accurately under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and the ability to follow through on tasks
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Multitask and reevaluate priorities throughout the day
• Handle stressful situations with ease as they arise
• Participate in month-end quality control (training provided)
• Attend weekly team meetings via Zoom every Monday at 1:30 PM PST

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience working in QuickBooks Online accounts
• QuickBooks Online Certification required
• Stable, fast, and secure internet connection to support Zoom meetings
• Computer and second monitor to streamline virtual work (unless your state is exempt)
• Quiet workspace for work hours and team meetings
• Team player with eagerness to learn
• Ability to troubleshoot concerns and solve problems
• Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
• Living within the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Asana, Google Suite, Excel, Gusto, Slack, Notion, ADP, JobTread, BuilderTrend, and House Call Pro
