Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer 3/ UI Path, you will play a vital role in supporting our customer contract. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Gathering information concerning the capabilities of company products and investigating the technical capabilities of competing equipment and/or solutions.
• Generating quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, and design, ensuring compliance through formal verification methods.
• Translating high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications, working with other engineering disciplines to develop detailed implementation requirements.
• Establishing and coordinating the development of standards, practices, and procedures related to network and system development.
• Designing interfaces and integrating network and system elements to ensure seamless functionality.
• Assessing performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Serving as a customer liaison and providing support for business development activities, working to understand and shape requirements.
• Coordinating the planning, design, and installation of equipment, utilizing knowledge of engineering and programming, as well as sophisticated instruments and computers.
• Participating in system conceptual design and documentation of design concepts.
• Installing new hardware, systems, and software for networks, and designing, creating, and building network services, equipment, and devices.
• Generating system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures, and monitoring system performance to implement performance tuning.
• Reviewing test plans and procedures to ensure they meet contractual requirements, and participating in the testing process to validate requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience (or commensurate experience) in a related field.
• An active HUD Public Trust clearance, which is a requirement for this position.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with UI Path and systems engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• A strong understanding of engineering and programming principles, as well as experience with sophisticated instruments and computers.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
