Business Development Representative - East

EXCEL DRYER, INC. JOB TITLE: Business Development Representative, East POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Remote ALL ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN ONE OF THE LOCATIONS STATED BELOW: LOCATION: Resides on the East Coast of the United States (Preferably Lives in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee or Virginia) SALARY: $70,000 - $85,000 Annual Base + $500 Per Month for Car Allowance + 10% Bonus of Base for Personal SMART Goals Accomplished + 10% Bonus of Base for Achieving Salesforce Metrics + 5% Bonus of Base for Company Sales Goal Achieved REPORTS TO: Senior Business Development Manager, East QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent in years of experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two to five years of experience in sales (preferably B2B)
  • CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Remote work experience a plus

  • Strong relationship-builder
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Extremely strong prospecting skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a large pipeline with a high closed won ratio

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must have acceptable office/workspace in the home
  • Ability to travel for multiple days, nights and weekends to train partners, distributors and key account sales teams, work at various trade shows and present to architects, contractors, end users and distributors
  • Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to thirty (30) pounds
  • Ability to stand on your feet for up to eight (8) hours at a time
  • Driver’s license with good driving record

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, East and Director of Domestic Sales to establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with Excel Dryer management/office/factory staff, partners, distributors, contractors, end users and specifying architect/engineering firms .
  • Create, update and implement annual strategic plans with assigned key accounts and master distributors to achieve profitability.
  • Work with A&D department and distributor partners on construction platform (e.g., Dodge, ConstructConnect, etc.) projects.
  • Work with assigned master distributors and key accounts to promptly follow up on and close sales leads from trade shows, marketing campaigns, website inquiries, telephone calls and other sources.
  • Input leads, contacts, opportunities and tasks into Salesforce to track progress.
  • Provide regular training to designated personnel at master distributors and key accounts.
  • Participate in national, regional and local trade shows.
  • Prospect for new business.
  • Conduct hand dryer demonstrations, sales presentations, and lunch & learns for distributors, contractors, end users and architect/engineering firms.
  • Create sales forecasts for assigned master distributors and key accounts.
  • Set and achieve annual SMART goals, 90-day plans and scorecards.
  • Become a hand dryer industry expert on all competitor models.
  • Track and maintain expenses. Ability to pay for business expenses on a personal credit card that will be reimbursed within the following month.
  • Maintain confidentiality and use discretion with business information.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Business Development Manager, East and Director of Domestic Sales.
