OVERVIEW 

As the Security Intern at Automox, you’ll play a role in supporting our security team. Under the guidance of the Manager, Security Ops, you’ll assist in incident response, vulnerability identification, and security control implementation. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals across DevOps, ITOps, and Engineering, gaining real-world exposure to modern cybersecurity practices while contributing to impactful projects.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Collaborate on developing proactive security automation solutions designed to reduce manual remediation effortsHelp the team identify and triage security issues, learning to assess their business impact and reach

• Participate in regular security briefings and training sessions
• Embrace opportunities to question the status quo, explore new ideas, and develop a deeper understanding of modern security practices

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• You have some experience in a security domain through local experimentation, CTF competition, or bug bounty hunting.
• You have experience automating tasks in a programming language of your choice (python, go, nodejs, etc.).

COMPENSATION

$20 an hour
